Surat Hud 50 - Surah Hud: 11th Chapter of Quran - Exegesis Part II : He said, “o my people!

وَإِلَىٰ عَادٍ أَخَاهُمْ هُودًا ۚ قَالَ يَٰقَوْمِ ٱعْبُدُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ مَا لَكُم مِّنْ إِلَٰهٍ غَيْرُهُۥٓ ۖ إِنْ أَنتُمْ إِلَّا مُفْتَرُونَ. He said, o my people, worship allah ; This is a portion of the entire surah. (11:54) all we can say is that some god of ours has afflicted you with evil. الۤرٰ ۗ كِتٰبٌ اُحْكِمَتْ اٰيٰتُهٗ ثُمَّ فُصِّلَتْ مِنْ لَّدُنْ حَكِيْمٍ خَبِيْرٍۙ alif lām rā, kitābun uḥkimat āyātuhụ ṡumma fuṣṣilat mil ladun ḥakīmin khabīr alif lam ra.
